Remote Viewing Institutes

There are several remote viewing institutes, teaching several mind techniques to practice remote viewing and remote influencing, and each wanting to teach you their views and methods. I can't tell you which one is the right way for you or which teacher is right for you. Nobody can. Only you can make that choice. On top of that I know of quite some people who have done more than just one training with one institute. And why not? Even though it's no secret that there's little love lost between the individuals behind most of the org's, inc.'s and corp.'s on the list below, I'd say there's always more to be explored in the realms of human consciousness.

ARVARI - The Academy of Remote Viewing and Remote Influencing
The Academy presented itself on-line in 1997 as mindsafari.com. It's not a flashy commercial kind of site, but it happens to be one of the old established sites on Remote Viewing. It did expand quite a lot over the years, and is the only site absolutely LOADED with testimonials from enthusiastic students from all over the world. You will find many different subjects related to Remote Viewing and Remote Influencing. The RV and RI courses presented by the Academy are for listening while in a relaxed state, eyes closed.

Viking, Remote Viewing, Psychic Self-defense & Extra Terrestrials
"Remote viewing (Viking style) as a means of exploration, social psychotherapy, and as a robust path to enlightenment earthed in the real world. Information the governments don't want you to see."
This site is totally different from any other site about Remote Viewing, to say the least. The information on Mr. Edmund Meadows' Viking-Z ranges from instructional to interesting eye openers and resources. Very neatly organized.

Biomind Superpowers
An extended database regarding the superpowers of the human biomind by Ingo Swann.

PJ Gaenir's Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection
"Remote Viewing Collection mostly, but other collections too. PJ Gaenir's Firedocs Collections. RV is ESP extrasensory perception or psi psychic ability in a science or scientific protocol."

Major Ed Dames
Ed Dames offers DVD courses in TRV (Technical Remote Viewing), and live training workshops. Major Ed Dames himself will teach you TRV on these DVD's.

Mount Baldy Institute
"Opening Minds: A Journey of Extraordinary Encounters, Crop Circles, and Resonance."
Remote Viewing, crop circles and free energy brought together on one site by Mr. Simeon Hein. Mr. Hein prefers to speak of Resonant Viewing.

Hawaii Remote Viewers' Guild
"A skill-based association of people interested in the Research and Development of Remote Viewing."
Very nice site, definitely worth a visit, lots of interesting reading material, and examples of RV-sessions. I'm impressed by the information given on Project Promise Kept (10-Apr-2002).  (Don't want to frontload anybody here, maybe there are some of you who would like to do a session for them selves before reading what it's about.)

The Farsight Institute
"A nonprofit research and educational institute, offering a large library of free materials on remote viewing."
The Farsight Institute offers courses for those who wish to become a Scientific Remote Viewing Instructor. Furthermore you will find a 'workshop' on-line, in which you can practise your Remote Viewing skills. For those who would like to learn RV using strict protocols, and no more than that, in a detached lecturing kind of style, there is a free Basic SRV (Scientific Remote Viewing) course which you can download from their site.

The STAR GATE Chronicles: Joseph and Nancy McMoneagle
Mr. Joseph W. McMoneagle himself about Remote Viewing. The navigation perhaps needs some studying before you find your way around the many pages. If you're lucky you bump into the site map. But please, keep clicking and scrolling until you find out about Bingman, Bear, Raquel, Rocky, Puck, Sly, Nibbits, Raisin and last but not least, Her Majesty Princess Butterball.

Greg Kolodziejzyk
A personal remote viewing home page featuring a description of the phenomenon, some stunning examples, how Mr. Greg Kolodziejzyk uses it to predict the future, some essays on the nature of consciousness and time, and a comprehensive list of further resources. This Canadian site offers a free remote viewing on-line course in ARV (Associative Remote Viewing).

RVIS - Remote Viewing Instructional Services, Inc.
"Remote viewing training and consulting.   Maj. Paul H. Smith (ret.),
7-year veteran of Star Gate program, trained majority of military CRV students."
Offering training classes in Austin, Texas. CRV (Controlled Remote Viewing). "No detours around hard work."

Remote Viewing Conference
"The International Remote Viewing Association (IRVA) was organized March 18, 1999, by selected scientists and practitioners meeting in Alamogordo, New Mexico in conjunction with the first professional conference on Remote Viewing in Ruiduso, New Mexico." Also the home of the Gabrielle J.K. Pettingell On-Line Memorial.

The International Remote Viewing Association (IRVA)
"The International Remote Viewing Association's aim is to provide an objective mechanism for evaluating the discipline called remote viewing, encourage scientifically sound research, propose ethical standards and provide overview educational information to the public."

PSI TECH, Inc.
"Since 1989, when PSI TECH ushered the remote viewing technology out of the confines of military intelligence, PSI TECH has been the world leader in developing, testing, and refining Technical Remote Viewing training programs for our students. PSI TECH pioneered commercial remote viewing services and was the first company to offer remote viewing training. We also pioneered the world's first remote viewing distance learning programs, which in the last decade spawned an entire industry."
And
yes, I heard about their article in which they warn their trainees against "the growing number of remote viewing frauds, charlatans, and shams", etc. :)

David Morehouse Productions
"David Morehouse PhD is the world's leading Remote Viewing teacher, and has trained tens of thousands in this fascinating and life changing protocol. Formerly a highly decorated special operations officer in the US Army, he is the subject of a soon to be released movie."

The Western Institute of Remote Viewing
A site with a lot of personal input by Dr. Wayne Carr. Offering courses and workshops on Remote Viewing. I couldn't help notice some small print: "My professional role, responsibilities and ethical obligations as a licensed psychologist are kept entirely separate from my role as a remote viewer and instructor." Fair enough, eh? :)
